Anglian Water handles a lot of information about our customers and people, our assets and networks, the land and environment, as well as properties we serve within our region.

This page provides information on how you can make information requests.

Requests for access to personal information

Under the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR, individuals have the right to request access to information about themselves.

Anglian Water holds information which relates to properties in our region.

If you want information on: 

- property connection charges or billing and meter information, such as:

does Anglian Water charge for the property being connected to the public sewage network?

Requests for conveyancing reports

Unidentified drainage and water issues at a property can cause serious problems when moving home. Anglian Water produces the Law Society-approved CON29DW Drainage and Water Enquiry. Containing information derived directly from official records, the drainage and water search provides complete peace of mind for homebuyers.

Requests for maps of our network

Anglian Water provides Public Access Terminals which members of the public can use to access water and sewerage mapping and related asset information.

There are three terminals located at:

Anglian Water, Henderson House, 4 Lancaster Way, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire PE29 7DU.

A further terminal is located at:

Anglian Water, 3 Lancaster Road, Hartlepool TS24 8LW.

These terminals are available for use between 09:00 and 17:00 hrs, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). There is no need to book an appointment, just turn up, park in one of the marked visitor bays and go to Reception to sign in. If the terminals are in use you’ll be asked to wait, and in busy times your access may be limited to a specific time period.

Anglian Water Asset Plans are also available online from Digdat Utilities for a fee.

Requests for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000

Anglian Water is not a public authority under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) and therefore we don’t accepts requests made under FOIA. We do sometimes provide information on a discretionary basis.
